Michael Rose's 75th Birthday Concert - Bedford, England

Michael Rose is a distinguished teacher and conductor who has trained many of our top professional orchestral musicians through his work with the BBC Training Orchestra and the Bedfordshire County Youth Orchestra over a period of 40 years. His 75th birthday will be marked by a gala concert in Bedford, bringing together an orchestra drawn from his past students, who will perform with the eminent pianist John Lill. A sufferer in recent years from prostate cancer, Michael has dedicated the proceeds of this concert to furthering the research which enabled him to regain his health.
