Share Gift
Did you know you can donate shares to Prostate Cancer Research Foundation?  And did you know that giving stocks, shares and other investments can be incredibly tax-effective, involving a double tax benefit.  Not only is your gift exempt from Capital Gains Tax but, in the case of quoted shares, you can also reduce your taxable income by the value of the shares gifted ( e.g.: a £1,000 gift offers a higher-rate taxpayer a saving of £400 on income tax, which could also be donated).
